AndTech to Hold WEB Online Zoom Seminar on "Latest Metasurface Technology ~From Basic Principles to Active Control, RIS/IRS, and Metalenses~" on May 21st (Thursday)

AndTech Inc. (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Masao Suyama, hereinafter referred to as AndTech) will offer a course titled "Latest Metasurface Technology ~From Basic Principles to Active Control, RIS/IRS, and Metalenses~" as part of its Zoom lecture series for R&D support. The course will be taught by leading experts in metasurfaces.

This lecture provides a systematic learning experience from the basics of metasurfaces to their design, manufacturing, evaluation, and applications, through three-dimensional bulk metamaterials and MEMS-driven tunable metasurfaces. It also introduces insights into prototype verification of IRS, which is attracting attention in millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz band communications, and future system design. Furthermore, the course covers the basics and design methods of metalenses, making it ideal for those interested in device development for Beyond 5G/6G and new business ventures.
