From Fukuoka to the World! And ST HD Group's Special Subsidiary 'WeOur' Sponsors Para-Sports Talent Discovery Project 'F-STAR' for the 3rd Time

WeOur Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Akira Takahashi), a special subsidiary of the And ST HD Group whose mission is 'Play fashion!', endorses the objective of the para-sports talent discovery and development project 'Fukuoka Parastar Project (hereafter F-STAR)' implemented by Fukuoka Prefecture. This year again, they sponsored original T-shirts as uniforms for trainees and support staff. This initiative has been ongoing since the launch of the project, making this the third year of sponsorship. At the 'Reiwa 8 (2026) F-STAR Opening Ceremony' held at the Fukuoka Prefectural Government on Sunday, April 12, 2026, the uniforms were unveiled and presented to the trainees taking a new step forward.

Background and Thoughts Behind the Sponsorship

Since its establishment in 2013, WeOur has walked alongside employees with disabilities. While aiming to realize a 'society where everyone can shine' by establishing a reward system to support athlete employees challenging para-sports tournaments, they empathize with the aspirations of this project by Fukuoka Prefecture and continue to sponsor it. The provided T-shirts will be utilized as official uniforms for future para-athletes and the staff supporting their activities.

Features of the Official Uniform T-shirts

We have adopted highly functional materials that combine the moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties essential for sports scenes with stretchability that does not hinder dynamic movements.
Design: A double logo of 'WeOur' and 'And ST HD' is placed on the chest along with the 'F-STAR' logo.
Back: The word 'Fukuoka' is boldly laid out, expressing pride as representatives of the region.

About the 'Fukuoka Parastar Project (F-STAR)'

Fukuoka Prefecture has been implementing the 'Fukuoka Prefecture Talent Discovery Project' targeting junior-aged children and students since fiscal year 2004, pioneering such efforts nationwide. To expand this talent discovery initiative to people with disabilities, the 'Fukuoka Parastar Project (F-STAR)' was newly launched in fiscal year 2022 to discover and develop athletes who shine in para-sports. F-STAR targets individuals with physical, visual, or intellectual disabilities who are in the sixth grade of elementary school or older, and consists of three phases: 'Know & Touch,' 'Find,' and 'Develop.' It aims to discover and nurture those with excellent aptitude and potential for para-sports, continuously producing para-athletes who will be active nationally and globally in the future.

In 'Know & Touch,' para-sports experience and consultation sessions are held to deliver information, create awareness, and provide hands-on experience of para-sports to all people with disabilities.
In 'Find,' measurement sessions are conducted to measure the basic physical fitness required for athletes and check competitive abilities, discovering athletes with the potential to become para-athletes.
In 'Develop,' to nurture and strengthen the discovered athletes, regular practice sessions are held, Paralympians and top coaches from central sports federations are invited to provide direct instruction, and training is conducted to acquire the knowledge and mindset necessary as a para-athlete, offering programs tailored to individual growth stages.

In fiscal year 2024, F-STAR produced its first designated enhancement athlete of a central sports federation, a candidate for the next generation of Paralympians.
