## Why is housing specifically designed for infancy necessary?
While child-rearing may feel short in retrospect, the days of infancy are extremely dense and place no small burden on both mind and body. In addition to repetitive tasks like holding, feeding, and putting to sleep, concerns about noise and safety, and worries about going out or having visitors, many burdens and anxieties accumulate in daily life.
On the other hand, much of the existing housing is not designed with consideration for child-rearing during infancy, which often results in parents having less leeway and creates an environment where they are more likely to become isolated.
Child-rearing is tough, but more than that, it's a very interesting and irreplaceable time.
That is precisely why we want to make that time something that can be savored with peace of mind.
In response to these circumstances, we believe that housing design can support child-rearing, which led to this project.
