Ethical&SEA Yokohama, a select shop brand "Ethical&SEA" developed by Flag Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Naoko Fukiage) and operated by And People Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Kim Hyun-soo), celebrated its 5th anniversary on March 4, 2026.

With gratitude to the customers, brand partners, and local community who have supported us for five years, we present the next dream that Ethical&SEA Yokohama envisions.

## Five Years of Progress

Ethical&SEA Yokohama opened on March 4, 2021, on the 2nd floor of Sotetsu Joinus. Responding to voices like "Ethical sounds difficult," we have continued to select stylish, easy-to-use, and easily integrated everyday items one by one.

What we have valued particularly because Yokohama is a city with a sea is our commitment to Ocean Friendly among the SEVEN STORIES. We have engaged in actions to protect the natural environment of the sea, including beach clean-up activities, together with the local community.

In December 2023, we acquired certification from Yokohama City's Y-SDGs, an SDGs certification system promoted by the city. This recognition of our community-rooted sustainable activities marked a step forward as a partner walking hand-in-hand with the city of Yokohama.

From October 2025, we have been holding the Ethical Ennichi (Ethical Festival). Ethical companies, organizations, and artists gather in Yokohama to create a space where people can experience an ethical lifestyle through workshops and interactions. The circle of participants has expanded with each event.

Looking back, these five years have been built together with our customers and the local community.

## Kind Words from Our Customers

Each word we received from our customers over the past five years has been our driving force.

- "At first, I came because I was interested in organic cosmetics, but I discovered so many things I didn't know, like fair trade foods and plastic-free goods. Now it's a monthly treat." (Female, 30s, Yokohama resident)

- "At the Ethical Ennichi workshop, my child and I made upcycled accessories. I can't forget my daughter's sparkling eyes when she asked, 'Is this made from a plastic bottle cap?'" (Female, 40s, visited with child)

- "The staff carefully explains the background of the products, so I feel like my shopping isn't just consumption, but a form of support." (Female, 20s)

Towards a future where ethical choices are the norm.
