Veronica Halim profile

Veronica Halim

A designer/calligrapher based in Jakarta, Indonesia. She encountered calligraphy during her studies at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia, and was fascinated by the beauty of handwritten letters.

In 2016, she established "L’atelier de Veronica Halim," a multidisciplinary design studio. Centered on calligraphy, her creative activities span a wide range of fields including visual identity, invitations, packaging, patterns, and illustration.

Her fluidly beautiful lettering and sensitivity-rooted ideas and styling are known as "Veronica Style" and have spread worldwide through social media, gaining wide support.

Since 2014, she has continuously held calligraphy workshops in various cities including Japan (Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka), Jakarta, Paris, Melbourne, Singapore, and Seoul.

Her books include 'Calligraphy Styling' (2017), 'Calligraphy Lifestyle' (2020), and 'Calligraphy Styling & Lifestyle' (2025) (all by Shufunotomo Co., Ltd.).
