I had started to feel that both my work and daily life in Tokyo were becoming somewhat predictable. I truly love being a stylist, and I want to continue doing this work with a fresh sense of excitement for years to come. When I thought about what I needed to make that happen, I realized that placing myself in a different environment and taking time to reflect on who I am was essential.
So, without hesitation, I made a bold decision and moved to New York two years ago, where my younger sister lives. Now, I split my time almost evenly between Tokyo and New York throughout the year. It feels like the perfect balance—allowing me to fully enjoy the best of both cities.
My daily life in Tokyo, which had begun to feel somewhat predictable in both work and private matters. I want to continue my beloved work as a stylist with the same fresh excitement for years to come... When I considered what I needed to achieve that, I realized that placing myself in a different environment and taking time to reflect on myself was necessary.
Immediately, I made a bold decision and moved to NY, where my sister lives, two years ago. Currently, I feel that my life is balanced about half and half between Tokyo and NY throughout the year, allowing me to fully enjoy the best of both cities.
