AN Venture Partners' Managing Partner Ken Horn Appointed to AMED Advisory Board

[June 15, 2026, Tokyo] AN Venture Partners (ANV), a global biotechnology venture capital firm, announces that its Managing Partner, Ken Horn, has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), a national research and development corporation.

AMED serves as a core institution responsible for advancing medical research and development and fostering innovation in Japan. The AMED Advisory Board, established under the President, gathers diverse needs from medical practitioners, industry, researchers, and patients. As external experts, board members provide specialized advice on AMED’s R&D initiatives and operational management. Notably, ANV was selected as a certified VC in AMED’s 'Drug Discovery Venture Ecosystem Strengthening Project' in 2024.
