Amuse Creative Studio, Ken Production, and King Records Announce Joint '2026 Voice Actor Artist Development Program Selection'

The sixth edition of the '2026 Voice Actor Artist Development Program Selection,' launched in 2014, has been officially announced! Applications are now open starting today, June 15 (Monday).

Additionally, audition preview seminars (information sessions) will be held in three cities—Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka—featuring mock auditions led by casting directors and producers from the participating companies.

This year’s sixth audition is jointly organized by Amuse Creative Studio Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Hiroyuki Araki), Ken Production Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenta Inoue), and King Records Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman & President: Kohei Furukawa). The goal is to discover fresh talent in the field of voice acting and artistry. The second round of screening will include joint interviews across Japan, offering applicants a rare opportunity to meet with all three companies at once.

Since its inception in 2014, this audition has helped discover exceptional talents such as voice actors and artists Tomita Miyou, Maeda Kaori, Natsuyoshi Yuuko, and Ookuma Kazu, who have gone on to thrive in anime, games, music, and beyond. The organizers welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds—those aspiring to become voice actors for the first time, or those seeking to revive a dream they once set aside.

During the application period, audition preview seminars will be held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka in cooperation with ESP Entertainment Vocational School. Featuring hiring managers and producers as guest instructors, these sessions will simulate actual audition formats. There will also be Q&A opportunities with judges, offering valuable insights into the industry and audition process. This is a unique chance for prospective applicants to gain firsthand experience.

Successful candidates will be selected individually by each company and may join one of the three agencies, be placed under management, or enroll in a one-year, fully funded training program offered by any of the companies. Made her voice acting debut in 2017 with the anime '100% Pascal-sensei'. Notable roles include 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby' (as Nice Nature), 'Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club' (as Sakurasaka Shizuku), and 'The 2.5 Dimensional Seduction' (as Amano Lirisa), among others. As a musical artist, she has released three EPs including 'I'm ready!', and held her first solo live concert at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in April 2025.

● Mei Tachibana (Joined in 2022)

I applied to this audition in 2022 and joined Amuse.

Back then, I knew little about voice acting and rarely spoke with adults. But through interview practice, I discovered unknown aspects of myself, and even things I thought I wasn’t good at were praised during the audition—this helped me better understand myself.

Even now, as a rookie voice actor, I’m constantly learning. But I’ve never regretted applying! I’m grateful for an environment that allows me to take on diverse challenges. I’m happy every day.
