About 'Toridai Fes 2026'

Tottori University Faculty of Medicine is dedicated to daily medical care, serving as a community-based hospital committed to protecting the health and lives of local residents. Since 2024, the university has also hosted 'Toridai Fes'—a special day designed to connect the community, hospital, and university with smiles. The event has attracted thousands of visitors annually, becoming a major highlight for both the hospital and the region, with an expected attendance of around 3,000 people.

Currently, Tottori University as a whole—including its Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Regional Studies, and Faculty of Medicine—is actively advancing research into lunar and space exploration. While 'medicine' and 'space' may seem worlds apart, advancements in health and medical technology are essential for enabling human life in space. By combining Tottori University’s cutting-edge expertise, pioneering research supporting future space exploration is now underway in Tottori.

This year’s theme is 'Medicine × Space.' The organizers hope to inspire local children—not only with the fulfillment of medical careers but also with the boundless possibilities of space exploration.
