BTS Named MTV's 'ARTIST OF THE MONTH' for April 2026! Month-Long Special Featuring Past Music Videos and Encore Broadcasts of Interview Specials

MTV, one of the world's largest music and entertainment channels for youth, has named BTS as its 'ARTIST OF THE MONTH' for April 2026. To commemorate the release of their new album, MTV will present a month-long special programming lineup featuring BTS, including encore broadcasts of interview specials.

MTV's 'ARTIST OF THE MONTH' is a monthly artist spotlight initiative that features one prominent artist, both domestically and internationally, and showcases their multifaceted appeal through heavy rotation of their music videos and special programming.

The 'ARTIST OF THE MONTH' for April 2026 is BTS, who released their new album 'ARIRANG' on March 20th. This marks the group's return to full-member activities and is their highly anticipated new work after approximately 3 years and 9 months. Furthermore, they have announced their world tour 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'', their largest scale to date, scheduled for 2026-2027. As the kickoff for their international performances, 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN JAPAN' will be held for two days, April 17th and 18th, at the Tokyo Dome.

To celebrate this, MTV will feature BTS for the entire month, including their past music videos and an encore broadcast of an interview special featuring J-HOPE and Jimin from 2018.
