Ergonomics Designed for Natural Typing

The Pro Type Ergo’s split ergonomic layout helps keep hands and arms in a more natural position, minimizing unnatural left-to-right movements and contributing to reduced strain during prolonged use. The layout is adjusted to feel natural from day one, ensuring a smooth transition to a split keyboard.

Additionally, the base features a 10° tilt and supports a total of five angle adjustments: flat (0°), forward tilt 4°/7°, and backward tilt +4°/+7°. This allows for fine-tuning to various work styles, from sitting to standing. Furthermore, the built-in cushioned wrist rest firmly supports the forearms, reducing wrist strain throughout the day.

For enhanced productivity, it features dual “B” keys, dual space keys, and a centrally located backspace key, designed for more comfortable frequent operations with both thumbs. This reduces finger crossing and unnecessary movement, achieving high efficiency in long writing, coding, document work, and spreadsheet tasks.

Low-Profile Keys Optimized for Long Hours of Work

Designed for sustained productivity, the Pro Type Ergo features ultra-thin, finger-fitting keycaps and short key travel, reducing finger movement and strain during typing. Subtle spherical indentations guide fingertips to a natural position, enhancing comfort and accuracy.

Internally, it incorporates a sound-dampening structure and optimized stabilizers, providing a quiet and stable typing experience. This makes it suitable for various environments, including working from home, open offices, and online meetings.

Built-in Controls for Instant Productivity

To reduce daily workflow hassles, the Pro Type Ergo integrates five dedicated macro keys, a dedicated microphone mute button, and the Razer Command Dial directly into the device.

Out of the box, it comes pre-configured with functions optimized for common workflows, including document manipulation, media control, and app-specific shortcuts for major productivity and creative tools. Users can experience convenience immediately without complex setup.

For more advanced customization, macro keys and the Command Dial can be configured via Razer Synapse. The dial offers multiple default functions and can be expanded to dozens of operations through customization. Users can intuitively and efficiently scroll long pages, zoom, manipulate timelines, and switch tools without taking their hands off the keyboard.

Furthermore, the AI Prompt Master provides quick, one-touch access to AI functions. This allows for seamless text summarization, email drafting, research, and idea generation without frequently switching windows.

By integrating AI prompts directly into the keyboard rather than a separate app, the Pro Type Ergo is designed to leverage AI as an accelerator for workflows while leaving the user in control of the final output.

The Pro Type Ergo supports five-way multi-device connectivity, allowing seamless switching between desktops, laptops, and tablets via Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4GHz), three Bluetooth profiles, or USB-C wired connection. It offers optimal flexibility for hybrid work, supporting multiple devices and work environments with a single keyboard.

The rechargeable battery provides up to approximately 3 months of continuous use with typical office usage. This reduces the need for disposable batteries and ensures reliable performance for long working hours.

The Chroma RGB backlight supports zone-specific illumination, enhancing visibility and usability from bright office environments to nighttime work, while providing a subtle aesthetic suitable for business settings.
