■What is "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-"? A music-based character rap project launched in September 2017, handled by the EVIL LINE RECORDS label within King Records. A total of 18 unique main characters are divided into 6 teams – "Ikebukuro Division", "Yokohama Division", "Shibuya Division", "Shinjuku Division", "Osaka Division", and "Nagoya Division" – and engage in heated rap battles. The rap music that colors the battles features participation from leading rappers and track makers in Japan's hip-hop scene as creators. By having voice actors perform various songs while rapping, the story of each character unfolds with music as the axis.

■What is "Hypnosis Mic -Alternative Rap Battle-"? Released in 2020 by Idea Factory Plus Co., Ltd., "Hypnosis Mic -Alternative Rap Battle-" is a smartphone game app based on "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-". You can enjoy original stories and the rhythm game "KILLER SCRATCH!! (Killer Scratch)", which offers new gimmicks unique to this title, such as "Scratch Notes".

The Nintendo Switch version includes familiar elements from the smartphone app version, as well as additional elements unique to this title, such as three special stories written exclusively for the〈2nd period〉, delivered in full voice.
