UNIDGE Continues Support for Fourth Consecutive Year, Recruiting Startups for Ricoh's Accelerator Program 'TRIBUS 2026'

Unidge Co., Ltd. (UNIDGE), a subsidiary of Alphadrive Co., Ltd., will start recruiting startup companies for co-creation candidates from Monday, June 8, 2026, for Ricoh Co., Ltd.'s accelerator program "TRIBUS 2026." As a co-operation partner in this program, UNIDGE provides comprehensive support including system design for business realization, business accompaniment, startup exploration for co-creation, and production of various contents. UNIDGE has been providing support continuously since "TRIBUS 2023" implemented in fiscal 2023, and this year marks the fourth term.

Overview of TRIBUS 2026

Ricoh's founder, Kiyoshi Ichimura, founded Ricoh as a venture company born from RIKEN, and subsequently created numerous products and services that brought innovation to the world. Returning to that entrepreneurial spirit, the "TRIBUS" program was born to further foster a culture that supports and nurtures people who take on challenges and promotes the creation of new businesses.

For the 2026 fiscal year, the program's eighth term, under the theme "Turn your chosen future into the right answer," it will broadly recruit startups that contribute to social issues Ricoh is addressing, in addition to seven business domains presented within the Ricoh Group, as well as other areas. This year, from the selection process, we will conduct two-way discussions with relevant departments within the Ricoh Group regarding startup proposals, aiming for adoption that enhances the continuity of co-creation.

A feature of this program is that startups can utilize Ricoh Group's assets such as technology and facilities, and create "one team" with diverse human resources within the group to verify new business creation. UNIDGE, which provides support, has a network of startups and extensive know-how in new business development. It comprehensively supports the realization of co-creation through the program, from designing recruitment themes to exploring collaboration partners, brainstorming application ideas, and supporting screening.
