(Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo / hereafter Allpress) will close its Tokyo Kiyosumi-Shirakawa roastery in Autumn 2026 and relocate to Miyota Town, Kita-Saku District, Nagano Prefecture. After approximately 12 years of operations, the Tokyo roastery, which has been supported by many people, will reach its end. Going forward, roasting and shipping functions will be transitioned to a new base in Miyota Town, Kita-Saku District, Nagano Prefecture.
Since opening its roastery in 2014, Allpress has roasted coffee for partner cafes across the country. The closure of the Tokyo roastery and relocation to Miyota Town, Nagano, have been decided as necessary steps to achieve long-term growth as a specialty coffee brand and deliver coffee to more people.
At the new roastery, which will be born in Miyota Town where nature and culture intersect, Allpress will conduct roasting and shipping for partner cafes both domestically and internationally, while also engaging in activities with a view to expanding business into the Asian market.
New Roastery Base: Miyota Town, Nagano "MMoP (Mop)"
Located at the foot of Mount Asama, Miyota Town in Nagano Prefecture is drawing attention both domestically and internationally as a place where culture such as art, photography, and food blends into daily life, blessed with nature in every season. The new roastery base chosen by Allpress is the cultural complex "MMoP (Mop)" located in the center of Miyota Town.
Up until now, MMoP has played a role in disseminating the charm of Miyota both internally and externally as a cultural hub where diverse people enjoying the unique lifestyle of Miyota Town, centered around photography and art, converge. The philosophy of MMoP, nurtured as a place open to the region, deeply resonates with Allpress's values, which aim to form open communities through coffee. We are convinced that this place, nurtured by MMoP, will not only allow us to pursue better flavor and quality but also create a place where people gather around coffee, converse, and cultivate new perspectives and values in their daily lives, and thus we have decided to establish our base here.
At the new roastery, in addition to roasting and shipping specialty coffee for Japan and abroad, we will expand ways of enjoying coffee and its underlying value together with visitors and the local community by holding various events and open activities.
