Grand Mercure Beppu Bay Resort & Spa (Location: Hiji, Hayami-gun, Oita Prefecture / General Manager: Boram Park), an all-inclusive resort hotel located in Hiji Town, Oita Prefecture, an "onsen prefecture" surrounded by rich nature of mountains and sea, will open its expansive outdoor pool overlooking Beppu Bay in time for Golden Week. A major attraction is the ability to enjoy an early resort atmosphere in a refreshing location with a panoramic view of the blue sea. During the Golden Week period, special experience programs such as workshops enjoyable for both children and adults will also be held. In addition to popular experience programs, new workshops for bath bomb making and a mystery-solving game will also be introduced.
Starting this spring, as the hotel celebrates its second anniversary, the buffet restaurant "Le Sensoriel" has begun offering a new signature menu.
