Accor Makes Its Debut in Hakuba with Two New Novotel Hotels Opening in 2030 and 2033

Accor, the Paris-based global hospitality group (Headquarters: France; Japan Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Dean Daniels), has signed an agreement with AQUA RESORT Co., Ltd. to operate two "Novotel" brand hotels in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. Both hotels will be located near Hakuba Station, within a convenient five-minute walk. These properties mark Accor's first entry into the Hakuba area, with openings scheduled for autumn 2030 and autumn 2033, respectively.

Novotel Scheduled to Open in Autumn 2030

The hotel scheduled to open in 2030 will feature 82 guest rooms, a restaurant, and a fitness center. To accommodate winter demand, it will include a dedicated ski equipment drying room and a parking lot with approximately 32 spaces for guests arriving by car. It will offer a comfortable and functional space for domestic and international travelers seeking an active stay.

Novotel Scheduled to Open in Autumn 2033

The hotel scheduled to open in 2033 will feature 120 guest rooms to meet larger-scale accommodation needs. The restaurant and bar are designed to serve as a hub for guest interaction. In addition to a fitness center, the facility will include a large public hot spring bath (onsen) to meet the expectations of travelers. It will also be equipped with a ski equipment drying room and approximately 70 parking spaces, making it suitable for group travel and long-term stays.

By leveraging their proximity to each other, both hotels aim to increase the visibility and presence of the Novotel brand in the Hakuba area while meeting the growing demand for accommodation.
