Alive Inc. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Representative Director: Hiromi Mitsui) has, for over 25 years, been practicing "education through English" where children learn specialized subjects such as science, STEM, and leadership in English, in addition to English and English conversation education. We have also focused on our unique English education centered on "English x Non-Cognitive Skills," not just on developing English proficiency. Against this backdrop of a solid educational foundation, Alive Inc. opened three franchise model schools simultaneously in April 2026. We have now decided to officially launch the franchise expansion of "Alive English School" starting in July 2026.

This initiative is a new challenge to deliver Alive's education to more children and marks the full-scale launch of our franchise business for "English education" and "English after-school care" with a view to nationwide expansion. We will package our unique curriculum centered on "English x Non-Cognitive Skills" and "learning specialized subjects using English," which Alive has cultivated to date, along with our teaching know-how, instructor training system, and operational support system. We will develop this business by building partnerships with educational providers, cram schools, childcare facilities nationwide, and even businesses considering the utilization of idle spaces.

This franchise model will provide the following support:

- Provision of a unique curriculum centered on "English x Non-Cognitive Skills" - Dispatch of native English-speaking instructors - Training and development system for Japanese staff - Comprehensive support for operations, customer acquisition, and branding - Support for the introduction of teaching materials, evaluation systems, and non-cognitive skill assessments - Pre-opening training and ongoing management support after opening, etc.

On the other hand, we prioritize "educational quality" above increasing the number of schools. Therefore, in fiscal year 2026, we will carefully support the operational quality, instructor development, and curriculum implementation of each of the three schools, focusing on building a solid foundation. Recruitment for new franchise schools aiming to open in fiscal year 2027 will begin in July 2026. We will initially recruit primarily in Aichi Prefecture, and with a limited number of schools and areas, we aim to open in fiscal year 2027 with partners who deeply resonate with Alive's educational philosophy. Following this, we plan to sequentially expand to major cities nationwide.

Alive will continue to aim for the realization of "education that learns through English and grows as a person," not just "learning English." We aim to spread nationwide an education that fosters the skills necessary for children to carve out their future, including English proficiency, self-esteem, initiative, creativity, resilience, and compassion, thereby nurturing global leaders. Through our educational model, which incorporates over 25 years of educational achievements and insights from educational psychology and non-cognitive skills research, we will contribute to the development of children who will support the next generation of Japan.
