Since announcing its expansion into the pharmaceutical industry in 2025, the company has been promoting verification across multiple domains, including manufacturers of ethical drugs, OEM manufacturers, and API manufacturers. Through practical initiatives, it has grasped the challenges of planning operations unique to the pharmaceutical industry and is proceeding with integrated response, encompassing both production planning and testing planning domains.

These initiatives and specific examples will be introduced at the "Pharma IT & Digital Health Expo 2026" to be held in April 2026.

Since announcing its expansion into the pharmaceutical industry in February 2025, our company has been promoting trials in multiple domains, including manufacturers of ethical drugs, OEM manufacturers, and API manufacturers.

Through trials with four pharmaceutical companies, we have identified the following operational challenges and needs while advancing practical verification:

• Production plans and testing plans are fragmented, making overall optimization difficult

• Management complexity due to the combination of test components, equipment, and personnel skills

• Information dispersion and reliance on key personnel are progressing due to operations centered around Excel

• Growing need for integrated management that includes testing plans in addition to production plans

Based on these challenges, our packaged solution has expanded its functions to cover the testing planning domain, enabling integrated handling of multiple planning operations.

■ Specific Examples from Trials to be Introduced at the Exhibition

Through our initiatives to date, we have undertaken the following planning DX efforts:

• Improving the efficiency of plan revisions by linking production and testing plans at an ethical drug manufacturer

• Flexible plan formulation at an OEM manufacturer, accommodating detailed order units and delivery date constraints

• Integration of fragmented information across departments and overall optimization at an API manufacturer
