The purpose of this agreement is to promote activities through mutual cooperation and collaboration, thereby contributing to the realization of the future vision that Tonami City aims for, as well as regional development and the improvement of citizen services. Details are as follows. *** **1. Background and Purpose** The Alfresa Group, under its corporate philosophy of 'We create and deliver a vibrant life for all,' has set three themes for creating social value in its 'Alfresa Group Mid-to-Long-Term Vision'*1 through fiscal 2032: 'extending healthy life expectancy,' 'contributing to regional healthcare,' and 'healthcare innovation.' Meisho, a general trading company dealing in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, reagents, and chemical raw materials, operates under the philosophy of 'contributing to the health and happiness of the local people through our business.' It promotes contributions to regional healthcare in the Hokuriku region by valuing harmony, community, and dialogue, including ensuring a stable supply of pharmaceuticals, providing information on infectious disease control and disease prevention, and building a stockpiling and supply system for disasters. In Toyama Prefecture, it has been developing a community-based business from its Toyama and Takaoka branches. Tonami City has formulated the '3rd Tonami City Health Plan 21'*2, with the basic philosophy of 'Supporting each other to connect everyone's health to the future.' It aims to maintain and improve physical and mental health, and by leveraging the connections between people cultivated in Tonami, to realize a society where everyone can live a healthy and fulfilling life and pass it on to the future.
