TS Alfresa Co., Ltd. Concludes Agreement with Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture, for Supply of Pharmaceuticals and Sanitary Goods During Disasters

TS Alfresa Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President & CEO: Takushi Takahashi; hereinafter "TS Alfresa"), a subsidiary of Alfresa Group, announced today, April 30, 2026, the conclusion of an "Agreement on the Supply of Pharmaceuticals and Sanitary Goods During Disasters" with Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture (Mayor: Atsushi Ishitobi; hereinafter "Unnan City"), as detailed below. ### 1. Background and Purpose Guided by the Alfresa Group's corporate philosophy, "To create and deliver a vibrant life for all," we strive for a stable supply of pharmaceuticals as a social infrastructure, delivering them with "safety, security, and sincerity." Based in Hiroshima Prefecture, TS Alfresa operates in the Chugoku region, conducting community-based business through the distribution of life-related products, including pharmaceuticals. Furthermore, with the aim of stable pharmaceutical supply to remote islands and mountainous areas, we are working on the social implementation of pharmaceutical delivery utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). Unnan City, located in eastern Shimane Prefecture, boasts rich nature, history, and culture. However, due to the progressing aging population and the geographical conditions where the southern part of the city is a vast mountainous area extending to the Chugoku Mountains, securing a medical and supply system during disasters is a critical issue. A transportation system capable of responding promptly to damage such as road destruction is required, and the city is promoting strengthened cooperation with companies on a regular basis to protect the lives and health of its citizens. Through this agreement, TS Alfresa will cooperate with Unnan City's disaster prevention awareness activities and disaster drills during normal times, preparing for disasters. During disasters, TS Alfresa will supply pharmaceuticals and other goods to Unnan City and, if necessary, cooperate with activities using unmanned aerial vehicles. TS Alfresa will continue to strive for further improvement of sustainable distribution functions for pharmaceuticals and other products, and contribute to solving social issues related to health, medical care, and disaster prevention in Unnan City. ### 2. Outline of the Agreement (1) During Normal Times 1. Cooperate in promoting Unnan City's disaster prevention awareness activities and disaster drills, preparing for disasters. (2) During Disasters 1. Based on Unnan City's request, deliver pharmaceuticals and other products to the designated handover location in Unnan City. 2.
