ALCANTARA® unveils the installation "FÒCO. Living notes" at Milan Design Week 2026.

This marks the fourth consecutive collaboration with Archiproducts, the world's largest design product website.

The acclaimed architectural studio Studiopepe reinterprets space and interiors with "fire" as its theme.

ALCANTARA® (Alcantara), a Made-in-Italy material brand, announced the project "FÒCO. Living notes" at Milan Design Week 2026, marking its fourth year of collaboration with Archiproducts, one of the world's largest design product websites.

Curated by Studiopepe, an emerging architecture and design studio in Milan, this installation takes "fire" as its inspiration, reinterpreting interiors as "living tools."

Interiors as "Living Tools"

In this installation, "FÒCO (fire)," a fundamental natural element, is elevated into design as a lens to understand the relationships between space, materials, and people. Meanwhile, "Living notes" in the latter part of the title expresses the traces of design scattered throughout the space. Interiors are not merely decorative objects for appreciation but are regarded as "living tools" for people to step into, experience, and interpret with their own sensibilities.

Light and Shadow Woven by Latest Processing Technology

Within this installation, ALCANTARA® envelops items such as curtains, armchairs, poufs, cushions, and wall decorations (boiseries) in lustrous tones that combine warmth and strength, bringing the brand's unique luxurious texture. Furthermore, new expressions of the material were achieved by applying embossing and innovative metallic laminating to traditional plain ALCANTARA®.

At the end of the exhibition area, a "bugnato" style wall appears, expressing three-dimensional stonework using 3D thermoforming technology. ALCANTARA®'s rich texture highlights the beautiful interplay of light and shadow, dramatically staging the space.

"FÒCO. Living notes" will be open to the public from April 21, 2026, at Archiproducts Milano, Via Tortona 31, Milan.
