FC Jurong announces the '4v4 FC Jurong Cup 2026', a 4-a-side football tournament to be held on August 8, 2026. The event aims to foster children's autonomy, decision-making, and teamwork through football.

FC Jurong (formerly Albirex Niigata Singapore / Headquarters: Singapore, Chairman: Daisuke Korenaga) is pleased to announce the hosting of the 4-a-side football tournament '4v4 FC Jurong Cup 2026' on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

'4v4' is a 4-a-side football tournament conceptualized by Keisuke Honda to further energize the football community.

Launched in 2023 with the mission of 'bringing a world football tournament to every child,' the event will mark its fourth year in 2026. This will be the second consecutive year the tournament is held in Singapore.

The most distinctive feature of 4v4 is the absence of coaches or managers on the bench.

Players are encouraged not to wait for instructions from adults, but to think independently and advance the game through communication with teammates. Through the high number of touches and decision-making opportunities unique to 4-a-side football, the tournament aims to develop not only football skills but also qualities such as autonomy, judgment, communication, and leadership.
