AlbaLink Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenji Kawata; hereinafter "AlbaLink") has formally signed, on June 29, 2026 (Mon), a partnership agreement with Awara City, Fukui Prefecture, titled the 'Agreement on Collaboration for Promoting Measures Regarding Vacant Properties' (hereinafter "this Agreement").

Background and Purpose of the Agreement

Awara City, Fukui Prefecture, is blessed with rich tourism and agricultural resources, including Awara Onsen, known as the 'backyard resort of Kansai,' and fruit cultivation such as melons and pears. However, in recent years, population decline and aging have led to a serious increase in deteriorating vacant houses. While the city has been promoting the use of a vacant house bank, properties that are severely deteriorated or cannot be rebuilt—so-called 'problem properties'—are difficult to register and circulate on the market. As a result, the local government alone cannot provide practical solutions. Moving forward, it will be essential to promote early awareness among current owners and provide diverse options for low-liquidity properties that are difficult to trade in the market, thereby actively promoting their circulation and utilization.

In light of this situation, AlbaLink will leverage its specialized expertise in purchasing and revitalizing challenging real estate assets, along with its nationwide network of investors, to collaborate with Awara City in addressing vacant housing issues and preserving living environments. This Agreement has been established with the aim of advancing the circulation of properties previously deemed difficult to resolve, thereby contributing to the creation of a safe and secure community where citizens can live with peace of mind.

Main Contents of the Agreement

- Matters concerning the circulation of vacant properties

- Matters concerning the utilization of vacant properties

- Matters concerning consultations with owners of vacant properties

- Matters concerning matching between problem properties and potential users

- Matters concerning sharing and dissemination of information necessary for addressing vacant properties

- Other matters deemed necessary for achieving the objectives stated above
