Actio Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and COO: Naoto Onuma, hereinafter referred to as Actio), a general construction machinery rental company, together with the "Japan's Hinata Miyazaki" National Sports Festival and National Sports Festival for Persons with Disabilities Miyakonojo Executive Committee (Chairman: Yoshinaga Ikeda), conducted a demonstration experiment for communication infrastructure construction at Kirishima Shuzo Sports Land Miyakonojo. In this demonstration experiment, Actio utilized "Starlink Business" and wireless LAN access points. On March 20, 2026 (Friday), during the "3rd Miyazaki Prefecture Athletics Record Competition," a comfortable internet environment was provided in dedicated booths to verify its effectiveness.

"KUROKIRI STADIUM (Miyazaki Prefectural Yamanokuchi Athletics Stadium)" located in Kirishima Shuzo Sports Land Miyakonojo is a large-scale stadium completed in March 2025. It has obtained "Class 1 Certification" which allows it to host official competitions of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations, and "Class 2" recognition from World Athletics (WA) for hosting Asian Games level athletics competitions. It has been decided to be the main venue for the National Sports Festival and the National Sports Festival for Persons with Disabilities to be held in 2027. The facility, built on a vast site of approximately 24 hectares surrounded by mountains, boasts a maximum seating capacity of 15,000 spectators. During large-scale events, it is necessary to build an internet environment that can withstand a large number of visitors. Based on the background above, Actio supported the construction of communication infrastructure utilizing "Starlink Business." Actio provided support from the selection of installation locations for Starlink antennas and access points to their installation and operation.

Actio will continue to contribute to the development of safe and secure social infrastructure and regional revitalization by leveraging its "Rensulting" know-how.

Overview of the Demonstration Experiment

About Starlink Business + Access Point "Starlink Business" enables the construction of a high-speed and stable internet environment utilizing the "Starlink" satellite network, even in locations where mobile or fiber optic lines are difficult to use. By combining it with "Buffalo Outdoor Wi-Fi Access Points" which have dustproof, waterproof, and environmental resistance, Wi-Fi environment can be expanded. Furthermore, it is equipped with a "repeater" function that allows wireless connection between multiple access points, so the Wi-Fi area can be further expanded by adding more units.
