Akitsumugu LLC (Headquarters: Akitsu-cho, Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Representative: Satoshi Fukushima) will launch "Nakaseto," a new experiential base created by renovating a 100-year-old traditional house.

As the first step, on April 25, 2026, a physical store "Yaginada Shoten" will open within Nakaseto, featuring carefully selected local products from the sea area "Yaginada," which has disappeared from maps.

Beyond merely selling products, it will serve as a base for a "co-creative trading company" that connects producers and consumers with deep trust, passing on the rich culture of Yaginada to the next generation.

■ What is "Yaginada," the sea area that disappeared from maps?

Yaginada is a former name used to refer to the inner bay area of the Seto Inland Sea, connecting Kawajiri, Akitsu, Yasura, Takehara, Osakikamijima, and the Tobishima Kaido.

With its mild climate, beautiful islands, tidal flats, and eelgrass beds, it is where "the life of the Seto Inland Sea" remains most vibrant,

and is also known as "Small Seto Inland Sea."

① Why is "Yaginada Shoten" being born from "Nakaseto" now?

In the Yaginada area, surrounded by rich seas and mountains, there are many businesses earnestly engaged in craftsmanship.
However, there was a challenge that individual charms were scattered, and their true essence was not fully conveyed.

Therefore, we shed light on the former Kara residence, which was once the center of the community, and revitalized it as the base "Nakaseto."
As its core, we will open "Yaginada Shoten," which will consolidate the region's attractions as a single "face."
In the future, Nakaseto plans to develop into a complex base where visitors can experience not only food but also lifestyle and culture.
