Winners of the 'Umi ga Hashiru Endroll Film Award' Announced! Grand Prix Goes to Yuho Noda's 'Tsuge'

Akita Shoten Co., Ltd. has announced the winners of the 'Umi ga Hashiru Endroll Film Award,' a short film competition celebrating the conclusion of John Tarachine's manga, which will be adapted into an animated film in 2027. Yuho Noda's 'Tsuge' won the Grand Prix, earning 300,000 yen and a directorial role in an upcoming promotional video. The award ceremony was held in Tokyo on May 14, 2026. The winning piece will be screened in theaters as a promo for the final manga volume releasing on May 15.
