Akippa to Operate Official Parking for the 3rd Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival

akippa Inc. (CEO: Genki Kanaya), which operates the parking lot marketplace "akippa", has decided to manage the official parking for the "3rd Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival" to be held in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture on October 10, 2026 (Sat), continuing from last year. Reservations will begin on July 1, 2026 (Wed) at 9:00 AM.

This year, in addition to providing a safe and secure environment for attendees by offering pre-booked official parking lots around the venue, the "Soccer Field Front Parking Lot" directly in front of the fireworks venue will also be available for reservation and use through akippa.

Through its parking management services at events nationwide, akippa supports smooth transportation and strives to contribute to solving local traffic issues as a "problem-solving company," connecting people through real-life encounters.

The "Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival" is a spectacular fireworks show themed around the Sengoku period. The program, which fuses drone performances, fireworks, and Sengoku entertainment, is gaining attention as a unique event that can only be realized in Yonezawa.

The venue, Yonezawa City Baseball Stadium, is located about a 15-minute drive from Yonezawa Station, leading to many attendees arriving by private car. Previously, issues included traffic congestion due to parking queues, a shortage of nearby parking, and "cruising" to find available spots.

To resolve these traffic problems, akippa has been managing the official parking since 2024. In the past two years of operation, by dispersing attendee arrival times, we have contributed to alleviating traffic congestion in surrounding areas and ensuring smooth access for visitors. Based on this track record, we have been selected to continue our operations this year.

This year, the "Soccer Field Front Parking Lot" is newly available for reservation through akippa. By ensuring parking close to the venue, we will provide an environment where families with young children and visitors from afar can access the venue more smoothly and enjoy the event with peace of mind.

In addition to last year's Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival, akippa has also managed official parking for the "Yonezawa Uesugi Festival" and "Sakata Fireworks" held in the same prefecture, further accumulating our experience and expertise within the prefecture. (※)
