By introducing akippa's pre-booking system, the company aims not only to alleviate traffic congestion on the day of the event but also to reduce the operational burden on event organizers.

The 'Komatsushima Port Festival' is best known for its spectacular fireworks display of approximately 2,500 shots. This year, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Komatsushima City's municipal establishment, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's aerobatic team, the 'Blue Impulse,' will perform a demonstration flight, drawing even larger crowds than usual.

Previously, event organizers independently managed limited pre-booking parking to ease traffic congestion, improve visitor convenience, and secure funding for the fireworks festival. Starting this year, akippa will take over this initiative, providing end-to-end support from system integration to on-site operations, further reducing the workload for the organizers.

Additionally, akippa has prior experience managing official parking for the 'Awa Odori' festival in Tokushima Prefecture since 2024. Leveraging its regional expertise, akippa will address parking and event management challenges for this event as well.
