akippa Inc. (CEO: Genki Kanaya) will begin accepting reservations for a portion of the "Shin-Toyota Station West Parking Lot (Large Bus Exclusive Parking Lot)" through its smart parking app "akippa" starting April 1, 2026 (Wednesday), in cooperation with Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture (Mayor: Toshihiko Ota).
By making it possible to secure dedicated large bus parking in advance in the city center, the aim is to create opportunities for group visitors and further improve the accommodation and stay environment within the city.
Leveraging the collaborative achievements cultivated with Toyota City to date, we will work together as a public-private partnership to solve regional issues and revitalize urban tourism through this initiative.

Toyota City is strengthening its efforts to attract group visitors to the city center, and with the nationwide recovery of tourism demand, securing large bus parking in urban areas will become increasingly important in the future.
Against this backdrop, it has been decided to effectively utilize the surplus space in the route bus pool area of the "Shin-Toyota Station West Parking Lot," which is conveniently located in front of Shin-Toyota Station, and to begin offering it as a dedicated large bus parking lot with advance reservations through akippa.

Three Goals of This Collaboration
・Creation of Group Visitors and Promotion of Stays
By making it possible to secure dedicated large bus parking in advance, group travel itineraries become easier to plan, which is expected to create opportunities for dining and accommodation within the city and revitalize the regional economy.
・Traffic Dispersion during Events and Provision of "Selectable Access"
Since many large-scale events are held in the surrounding area, increasing the option of arriving by bus and enhancing accessibility other than by private car will contribute to alleviating traffic congestion.
・Effective Utilization of Idle Assets through Public-Private Partnership
By effectively utilizing surplus administrative property space through akippa, we aim to create a more comfortable access environment for visitors.
Furthermore, Toyota City and akippa have previously collaborated on realizing "Japan's most accessible stadium" by making the Toyota City Hall parking lot available for advance reservations during J1 Nagoya Grampus matches (※1). They have also been responsible for operating official parking lots for two consecutive years at the "Toyota Oiden Festival" (※2), thus building a cooperative system to solve traffic issues during events.

A parking sharing service. It allows easy rental of unused monthly parking spaces, private garages, vacant lots, commercial facilities, etc., as hourly parking via smartphone. Drivers can use the service by making advance reservations and payments via web or app. Space listing and member registration are free. With over 55,000 reservable parking spaces nationwide (average active listings as of December 2025), it is used for various purposes such as sports viewing, events, commuting, returning home, and travel. To date, it has partnered with over 50 local governments and sports clubs to solve problems such as traffic congestion and parking shortages.
