Background of the Partnership and Objectives

In recent years, the number of single elderly individuals nationwide has exceeded 9 million. With the increasing number of people without reliable family members, demand for support services—such as personal guarantors required for hospitalization or admission to care facilities, posthumous affairs, and property management—has rapidly grown.

At the same time, elderly individuals and their families often face challenges such as not knowing 'where to consult' or finding it difficult to identify trustworthy support providers.

In response to these social issues, Kansai Mirai Bank, a regional financial institution committed to solving customer challenges, and Akari Hosho, which operates a lifetime support business for the elderly, have partnered to build a support system that enables people to live their later years with peace of mind.
