Akafuku, a historic Japanese confectionery company, announced the release of its seasonal 'Akafuku Mizu-yokan.' This refreshing summer treat uses smooth bean paste made from Hokkaido red beans. It is served as a single flat piece in a box (320g) for 1,200 yen (tax included). While store sales start on April 18, online orders have been accepted since April 1, with shipping beginning April 13. It will be available at direct shops and major department stores in Mie, Aichi, and the Kansai region.
