Lightest Auto-Close Stroller (*1) 'auto N first II NC' Pre-sale Starts at Akachan Honpo on Friday, April 24th

Akachan Honpo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka https://www.akachan.jp) will be pre-selling the 'auto N first II NC' from Combi Corporation (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo), a stroller that can be used from around one month of age and features an "auto-close" function that allows it to be folded quickly and stand on its own. The pre-sale will run from April 24 (Fri) to August 31 (Mon), 2026, at Akachan Honpo stores nationwide and online (https://shop.akachan.jp).

Product Description

A Combi survey revealed that approximately 60% of stroller users find them "difficult to fold" (*2). This is likely due to the fact that during childcare, parents often have their hands full holding a baby or carrying bags, leading to struggles with folding operations.

Based on this feedback, Combi decided to launch the 'auto N first BN' stroller with an "auto-close" feature in September 2025. While this model folds automatically and compactly just by grasping and releasing a lever, there were requests for it to be "easier to use if it were lighter."

Reflecting customer feedback, an improved version was developed in less than a year after the initial release. The body weight has been reduced to 6.8kg (*3), and the "Tough Frame," which connects the left and right sides of the frame to increase rigidity, has also improved stability while in motion. Furthermore, the lever shape has been redesigned for even smoother automatic folding, resulting in a model that thoroughly pursues ease of use.
