1. Background and Purpose
The corporate adoption of generative AI is rapidly expanding, with 57.7% of domestic companies having already 'introduced' it, and a combined 76% having 'introduced or considering introduction' it *1. On the other hand, 70.3% of companies (up 4.9pt from the previous year) cited 'lack of literacy and skills' as a challenge in AI utilization *1, and only 4.0% of companies responded that 'the introduction effect significantly exceeded expectations' *2. In international comparisons, Japan is reported to have the lowest percentage of companies among the five major countries that 'achieved results exceeding expectations with generative AI' *3, and about half of small and medium-sized enterprises have not yet formulated an AI utilization policy *4.
There remains a significant gap between 'introducing tools' and 'achieving results.' The essence of this is not a lack of tools, but a lack of 'on-site AI promoters' who can incorporate AI into business processes, operate it reproducibly, and manage risks.
Through the provision of the generative AI school 'AISEE' and various corporate training programs, our company has accumulated AI education know-how for a wide range of working adults, including non-engineers. This time, in cooperation with the IT Engineers Association, which has operated multiple certification systems for the purpose of fostering IT talent and standardizing IT skills, we will start providing certified courses as a certified training institution for the new qualification 'AI Business Support Specialist.'
