Selected for MIC's Regional DX Promotion Package Project: Participating in Level 4 Autonomous Driving Initiative in Seika Town, Kyoto Prefecture — Conducting Verification of Safety and Economic Efficiency through Remote Monitoring Using Communications and AI

Aisan Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; President and CEO: Jun Kato) and A-Drive Inc. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Sadakatsu Okabe) announce their selection as consortium members for a project targeting Seika Town, Kyoto Prefecture, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' (MIC) "Regional DX Promotion Package Project (Level 4 Autonomous Driving Verification Type)."

Under this project, we will establish methods to quantitatively evaluate the safety of autonomous buses using remote monitoring powered by communications and AI technologies, and verify economic efficiency through N:M monitoring operations in an environment where autonomous buses and robotaxis coexist.
