Aillis, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Sho Okiyama; hereinafter "the Company") has received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 10th Monodzukuri Nippon Grand Award. This recognition was for the Company's initiative in "digitizing pharyngeal examinations through the development and promotion of the AI medical device 'nodoca'." Following this, an award ceremony was held on March 25 at the Prime Minister's Official Residence (Chiyoda-ku).

The "Monodzukuri Nippon Grand Award" is a national program that honors individuals who play a core role in manufacturing and production sites, as well as companies that have developed innovative products beyond traditional frameworks, in order to pass down and develop the "monodzukuri" (craftsmanship) that supports Japan's industrial and cultural growth. On this occasion, the Company was highly evaluated for developing and widely distributing a system where AI determines infectious diseases from throat images and clinical information without requiring specimen collection. Furthermore, the Company was recognized for establishing "new value creation through data utilization," where data circulates to benefit patients and healthcare professionals. Medical data used for diagnosis via the AI medical device nodoca is processed legally and appropriately in a privacy-conscious format. This data will be used to further improve pharyngeal AI algorithms and contribute to future medical care.

The information and medical experiences gained through this product are returned to the medical field as "resources" for the entire society, improving the quality of diagnosis and creating a cycle that benefits future patients. The Company will continue to promote the social implementation of advanced technologies, including AI, aiming to respond to changing medical needs and build a sustainable medical infrastructure.
