In recent years, the number of foreign visitors has increased—what do they see and feel about Tokyo?

The charm of Tokyo surely lies not only in modern districts like Shibuya and Ginza, but also in historic areas such as Asakusa.

Walking through Tokyo while sensing the seasons, we take snapshots as if sketching.

The photographs gathered here express aspects of daily life in today's Tokyo—towns undergoing development and growth, and towns that still strongly retain traces of the past.
