Aida Sekkei Signs Sponsorship Agreement with Professional Caddie Daisuke Shindo

Aida Sekkei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture; President: Sadamitsu Aida) has officially entered into a sponsorship agreement with professional caddie Daisuke Shindo.

Aida Sekkei has been supporting professional caddie Daisuke Shindo (hereinafter "Caddie Shindo") since 2022. Caddie Shindo has served as a caddie for top professionals since 2003 and has been a pillar of the Japanese golf world, notably contributing to five PGA Tour victories as the exclusive caddie for Hideki Matsuyama. Currently, he is active as a sports producer, planning and managing tournaments, serving as a PGA Tour correspondent and commentator, and appearing in media. He is also dedicated to nurturing junior golfers who aim to compete globally.

Through this sponsorship agreement with Caddie Shindo, we will further strengthen our support system and continue to assist the young talent that will carry the future through the sport of golf.

Daisuke Shindo

After playing for the Tohoku Fukushi University golf team, he pursued a career as a professional caddie. After supporting numerous top professionals including Yusaku Miyazato, Hideto Tanihara, Shingo Katayama, and Momoko Ueda, he served as Hideki Matsuyama's exclusive caddie on the U.S. PGA Tour from 2013 to 2018. He contributed to five U.S. Tour victories, including the first-ever World Golf Championships (WGC) win by a Japanese player, and a total of 18 wins between Japan and the U.S., supporting Matsuyama's rise to world number two. In 2017, he accompanied Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Hideki Matsuyama on their round of golf as the "Japanese Representative Caddie." He was responsible for smooth operations and international communication in the field of sports diplomacy and hospitality.

He currently manages Muirfield Village Co., Ltd. and works as a sports producer. He is energetically engaged in creating new value in sports, such as "THE Double Tournament," co-produced with Daisuke Matsuzaka. In addition to his media work as a PGA Tour correspondent, commentator, and program guest, he is also focused on developing junior players aiming for the world stage.
