Aida Sekkei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Sadamitsu Aida) held a commemorative tree planting ceremony and factory tour for new employees who joined in April 2026 at its pre-cut factory on Monday, April 13, 2026. This initiative, which began in 2023, saw 22 new employees participate this year. The purpose is to instill a sense of belonging as a member of a company involved in building homes using wood, by planting commemorative trees on the premises of the timber pre-cut processing factory. The planted trees are intended to symbolize the growth of each new employee and to be a presence whose growth can be felt in several years and decades. On the day, in addition to tree planting, a tour of the pre-cut factory was also conducted. The pre-cut factory is a facility responsible for timber procurement, processing, and shipment, playing a crucial role in supporting the foundation of housing quality. It also functions as a showroom for non-residential wooden architecture, providing a place to experience the possibilities of wooden architecture and the company's commitment to craftsmanship. New employees deepened their understanding of the fundamental processes of home building by observing the actual processing steps up close. Aida Sekkei will continue to develop human resources who support home building and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society utilizing wood.
