Aida-sekkei Signs Sponsorship Deal with Pro Caddy Daisuke Shindo

Aida-sekkei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ageo, Saitama; President: Sadamitsu Aida) is pleased to announce that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with professional caddy Mr. Daisuke Shindo.

Aida-sekkei has been supporting professional caddy Mr. Daisuke Shindo (hereafter "Caddy Shindo") since 2022. Caddy Shindo has been a caddy for top professionals since 2003 and has supported the Japanese golf world, contributing to Hideki Matsuyama's five PGA Tour victories as his exclusive caddy. Currently, he is widely active as a sports producer, planning and managing tournaments, serving as a PGA TOUR correspondent, commentator, and making media appearances, while also focusing on developing junior golfers who aim for the world stage. Through this sponsorship agreement with Caddy Shindo, we will further strengthen our support system and continue to support the young talent who will shape the future through the sport of golf.

Daisuke Shindo

After being a member of the Tohoku Fukushi University golf team, he pursued a path as a professional caddy. After supporting numerous top professionals such as Yusaku Miyazato, Hideto Tanihara, Shingo Katayama, and Momoko Ueda, he served as Hideki Matsuyama's exclusive caddy on the US PGA Tour from 2013 to 2018. He contributed to 5 US tour wins, including the first-ever World Golf Championships (WGC) victory by a Japanese player, and a total of 18 wins in Japan and the US, supporting Matsuyama's rise to a world ranking of 2nd. In 2017, he accompanied the round of golf played by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Hideki Matsuyama as the "Japanese Representative Caddy." In this arena of diplomacy and hospitality through sports, he was responsible for the smooth proceedings and international communication.

Currently, he manages Muirfield Village Co., Ltd. and works as a sports producer. He is energetically engaged in creating new value in sports, such as "THE Double Tournament" co-produced with Mr. Daisuke Matsuzaka. He is also developing his media career with appearances as a PGA TOUR correspondent, commentator, and on various programs, while also focusing on nurturing junior golfers who aim for the world stage.
