Aida Sekkei Signs Sponsorship Agreement with Professional Caddie Daisuke Shindo

We are pleased to announce that Aida Sekkei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Sadamitsu Aida) has signed a sponsorship agreement with professional caddie Daisuke Shindo. Aida Sekkei has been supporting professional caddie Daisuke Shindo (hereinafter referred to as "Caddie Shindo") since 2022. Caddie Shindo has been a caddie for top professionals since 2003, and has supported the Japanese golf world by contributing to 5 US PGA Tour victories as Hideki Matsuyama's exclusive caddie. Currently, he is widely active as a sports producer planning and managing tournaments, and working as a PGATOUR correspondent, commentator, and making media appearances. He also focuses on nurturing junior players aiming for the world stage. Through this sponsorship agreement with Caddie Shindo, we will further strengthen our support system and continue to support the young forces who will carry the future through the sport of golf. Daisuke Shindo After playing for the Tohoku Fukushi University golf club, he pursued the path of a professional caddie. After supporting numerous top professionals such as Yusaku Miyazato, Hideto Tanihara, Shingo Katayama, and Momoko Ueda, he competed on the US PGA Tour as Hideki Matsuyama's exclusive caddie from 2013 to 2018. He contributed to 5 US tour victories, including becoming the first Japanese to win a World Golf Championship (WGC), 18 career victories in Japan and the US, and supported the breakthrough to world ranking #2. In 2017, he accompanied a round with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, US President Donald Trump, and Hideki Matsuyama as the "representative Japanese caddie." He was responsible for smooth progression and international communication on the frontlines of diplomacy and hospitality through sports. He currently manages Muirfield Village Co., Ltd. and works as a sports producer. He energetically engages in creating new value in sports, such as "THE Double Tournament" co-produced with Daisuke Matsuzaka. He is also developing his media career as a PGATOUR correspondent, commentator, and making program appearances, while focusing on nurturing junior players aiming for the world stage.
