## Transforming the World into a Safe Place for All Children
What we at AiCAN aim for is a society where all children can live true to themselves and with hope.
The issue of child abuse remains an unsolved challenge, designated in the SDGs under target 16.2: "End abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children."
In Japan, the number of consultation cases is increasing year by year, exceeding 200,000 cases in 2020. However, the frontline is strained due to a shortage of staff and the difficulty of handling cases that require high-level judgment.
By integrating the experiential knowledge of the frontline with the latest technology, we are developing and providing services to support organizations at the forefront of responding to child abuse, such as municipal child consultation centers, child-rearing support divisions, and maternal and child health divisions. We will update the systems that protect children, as well as the underlying values, and promote "protecting children as a whole society" together with everyone involved with children.
## AiCAN's Initiatives
We aim to solve the social issue of child abuse by integrally providing "AiCAN," a business support app that assists municipalities in responding to child abuse, along with specialized training and hands-on support.
### Hands-on Business Support (AiCAN Service)
It consists of a web app accessible from tablet devices, a cloud database, and AI for data analysis.
By utilizing a secure network, tablet devices, and app functions tailored to the workflow, we contribute to "operational efficiency," "smooth communication," and "improvement in the quality of judgment" in child consultation tasks. As a result, we realize an environment where staff can concentrate on supporting children and families.
AiCAN Service
- Can be inputted from a tablet even during spare time, such as while traveling
- Chat and photo-taking functions enable accurate and smooth information sharing among staff
- Based on past data, it displays coexistence risks of abuse and items to be investigated with priority, supporting judgment and response
