■ What is Tokyo-Silicon Valley MedTech Launchpad?
TSVML is a 6-month intensive program supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and operated by a consortium of three companies: "TheraNova" (San Francisco), a prominent MedTech incubator in Silicon Valley; "Nozomi MedAlliance" (Tokyo), a Japanese MedTech advisory firm; and "Investable Solutions," a US investor network. Its purpose is to send Japanese MedTech companies to the US, the world's largest medical device market.
The target areas are limited to advanced fields expected to grow in the US market, such as medical devices, digital health/SaMD, AI/ML diagnostics, and healthcare data & analytics. Only companies whose business potential in the US market has been rigorously evaluated through document screening and video interviews by an expert committee are selected.
■ Program Overview
TSVML is a two-stage selective program, with only the "top 5 companies" advancing to the final stage.
【Stage 1 (3 months): Mentoring and Consulting】
・Data validity and integrity / Product-market fit analysis
・US FDA regulatory analysis / IP and FTO (Freedom to Operate) strategy
・Insurance reimbursement / Fundraising strategy
・One-pager, financial model, investor deck, pitch practice
【Stage 2 (3 months): US Market Launch Preparation】
・Conducting FDA Pre-Submission meetings
・Filing US Provisional Patent applications
・Individual meetings with investors, operating companies, hospitals, and distribution partners
・2-week intensive program in San Francisco
(Investor pitch events and US accelerator application support based at TheraNova's office)
■ AIBTRUST's Business
The Company's vision is "to create a society where medical data circulates from Japan to the world." It provides Japan's sole medical data distribution platform, combining blockchain, generative AI, and dynamic consent technologies. The business consists of two pillars.
【1. Medical DX Solution Business】
A product group that realizes operational efficiency improvements for medical institutions, regional medical collaboration, and monetization of medical data.
・Health Interview (for medical institutions)
A business support system that provides one-stop solutions for patient information return, consent acquisition, and generative AI utilization.
・Medireco (for patients)
A medical information management application that allows patients to manage and utilize their own medical information.
【2. Next-Generation Medical Registry Platform Business】
Provides a platform that directly connects research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and SaMD development companies with patients via smart contracts, enabling safe and transparent secondary use of medical data.
【Three Pillars of Value Proposition】
・Information Return: Safely return medical data to patients using blockchain technology
・Dynamic Consent: Manage data usage permissions based on patients' real-time intentions
・Reward Distribution Model: Return secondary data usage profits to medical institutions and patients
This enables the realization of Japan's sole infrastructure where medical institutions can safely utilize AI without legal risks (third-party provision risks).
■ The Trend of "Patient Data Sovereignty" in the US and Our Medical Data Distribution Platform
In the US, the White House and CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) are jointly promoting the "Health Technology Ecosystem" initiative. This initiative aims to realize a society of "data sovereignty" where patients can freely carry and utilize their own medical data, involving companies such as Amazon, Anthropic, Apple, Google, and OpenAI.
Through this program, the Company will verify the business potential in the US market for its suite of solutions, including "Health Interview," a business support system for medical institutions, "Medireco," a medical information management app for patients, and its next-generation medical registry platform business.
