The Association for the Utilization of AI in Education (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter AIUEO) will host an online study session titled "How Generative AI Will Transform 'Lifelong Education' – Support Connecting from Infancy to Social Participation" for education and welfare professionals on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

In recent years, generative AI has garnered attention as a new means to achieve personalized learning and support. However, its application is not limited to school education; a consistent perspective that connects support from early childhood development to post-graduation employment and social participation is indispensable. In this study session, three experts engaged in research and practice in special needs education and employment support will take the stage. From their respective standpoints, they will discuss the challenges of support that connects life stages and the potential for generative AI utilization.

How can generative AI change the nature of support?
And what roles can only humans fulfill?

This session aims to provide an opportunity for participants to consider the future of education that supports diverse learning and ways of living, not limited to supporting individuals with disabilities.
