Agro-Ludens Inc. and Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. have introduced and begun operation of a large-scale technical demonstration facility for the commercialization of rice-derived mycoprotein and bioethanol at the Agro-Ludens Nasu Plant, located in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture. Moving forward, they aim to produce 5,000 tons of mycoprotein annually and are considering expansion into the Global South region.
