From April 15 to August 16, 2026, Fondation Louis Vuitton presents "Calder. Rêver en Équilibre," a comprehensive exhibition exploring all facets of Alexander Calder's (1898–1976) creativity. Organized in collaboration with the Calder Foundation, the show gathers 300 works, including wire portraits, wood carvings, paintings, and jewelry, as well as his iconic kinetic mobiles. The chronologically structured display spans his 50-year career, from the 1920s avant-garde scene in Paris to his later monumental public sculptures. The exhibition highlights Calder's fundamental interests in movement, light, and gravity, creating a dynamic dialogue with Frank Gehry's architectural space.
