Aflac Life Insurance Japan Ltd. (President and Representative Director: Masatoshi Koide) has been selected as a "Reiwa 7 (2025) Excellent Company Promoting Cancer Countermeasures" in the Cancer Countermeasure Promoting Excellent Company Award System promoted by the "Cancer Countermeasure Promoting Company Action" of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Furthermore, our company has been selected for six consecutive years since Reiwa 2 (2020), when this award system was launched.
The "Cancer Countermeasure Promoting Company Action," a national project promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, has approximately 8,000 companies and organizations registered as promotion partners (as of the end of September 2025). In this award system, companies that actively engage in cancer countermeasures are selected.
Since our founding in 1974 with Japan's first cancer insurance, our company has developed cancer awareness activities both internally and externally. Since the inception of the "Cancer Countermeasure Promoting Company Action" in 2009, we have continued various initiatives as a promotion partner, including the promotion of cancer screenings for our employees. As a result, we maintain a high cancer screening consultation rate. Additionally, in 2018, aiming for a workplace where employees can "work with peace of mind and be themselves even if they get cancer or an illness," we established the "Cancer and Illness Employment Support Program" based on three pillars: "Consultation (Peer Support)," "Balancing," and "Prevention." We have continuously evolved our activities, such as creating a workplace environment to balance work and treatment, and establishing "All Ribbons," a community for employees who have experienced cancer.

By continuously utilizing our unique resources and expertise to solve the social issues we must face and creating new value that can be shared with society, our company will continue to meet the mandate and trust of all our stakeholders.
