AEON Entertainment Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Nobuyuki Fujiwara), which operates 97 "AEON Cinema" theaters nationwide, will grand open the 6-screen multiplex cinema "AEON Cinema Tsudanuma South" on Friday, July 10, 2026.

This theater will open within the large commercial facility "AEON Mall Tsudanuma South," directly connected to "Shin-Tsudanuma Station" on the Keisei Matsudo Line, which opened in March 2026. All screens feature Christie laser projectors, delivering bright, richly colored, high-contrast images. It will screen the latest blockbuster films as well as content such as live viewings, offering a wide variety of entertainment. This is a compact, high-spec multiplex cinema representing a new business format for AEON Cinema, aiming for next-generation operations through DX promotion.

Screen 1 combines "Dolby Atmos®" with a Christie hybrid RGB laser projector to provide an unprecedented, immersive, high-quality cinematic experience. Dolby Atmos is designed with a speaker layout meticulously crafted to deliver the best Atmos experience even in relatively small theater spaces. By freely placing sound in space according to the film's scenes, it allows you to feel as if you are inside the movie.

Furthermore, Screen 6 combines "DTS Surround Cinema" with a Christie hybrid RGB laser projector to maximize the film's realism with powerful sound. "DTS Surround Cinema" reproduces a clear and powerful acoustic space, deepening the emotional impact of the film.

The theater seats are all independent seats with armrests on both sides. They support a comfortable movie-watching experience, reducing fatigue even during long screenings. By ensuring wider seat spacing, we provide a space where you can relax and focus on the movie without worrying about your neighbors.

Christie hybrid RGB laser projectors, the first in Chiba Prefecture*, appear in Screens 1 and 6. Christie hybrid RGB laser projectors realize images on screen exactly as intended by filmmakers. Vivid, rich color expression, high brightness, and high contrast create overwhelming visual realism. From the rich colors of animation to the delicate landscape depictions of live-action films, they richly bring out the charm of each work.

■ Installation of Independent Seats with Armrests on Both Sides

Seats with armrests on both sides are adopted for all seats across all 6 screens. Dedicated armrests ensure personal space, allowing you to concentrate on the movie and enjoy it comfortably without worrying about your surroundings. The seat structure, designed for optimal comfort, is a major feature.
