Announcement of the 'Yamatokoriyama Fair' at Aeon Yamatokoriyama Store

For three days from June 12 (Fri) to 14 (Sun), Aeon Yamatokoriyama store will hold the 15th 'Yamatokoriyama Fair,' bringing together the finest agricultural and specialty products from Yamatokoriyama City.

Aeon aims to contribute to regional revitalization and the preservation of food culture through 'food.' By introducing local products and promoting 'local production for local consumption,' Aeon supports the regional economy. The 'Yamatokoriyama Fair,' which began in 2015, is now in its 15th year.

The event is held in cooperation with Yamatokoriyama City, the Yamatokoriyama Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Yamatokoriyama Tourism Association. On June 13 (Sat), Mayor Kiyoshi Ueda will be invited to hold a commemoration ceremony. Throughout the period, various events such as an acoustic live performance by Marina Yao, goldfish dancing, and a brass band concert by KCSS will take place.

Furthermore, fresh vegetables grown by local producers and specialty products from local renowned stores will be available. Additionally, students from the 'Health Team Nara,' a food education volunteer group from Kio University, Kindai University, Tezukayama University, and Nara Women's University, have devised pizzas using the traditional Yamato vegetable, 'Yamato round eggplant,' which will be sold at the store.
