Aeon Eaheart Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; President: Yoshinori Okuno; hereinafter 'the Company'), which operates restaurants in shopping centers nationwide, will launch a limited-time 'Homemade Tsubu-an and Zunda-an' Obanyaki at its 'Murasakian' stores starting Wednesday, April 1st.

'Murasakian' is a specialty shop offering light meals and sweets, featuring homemade Tsubu-an (chunky red bean paste) cooked in-store. To deliver seasonal flavors, the shop releases limited-time Obanyaki every month tailored to the season and events. The limited-time product starting in April combines 'Zunda-an' (sweetened edamame paste) made from Hiden-mame beans grown in Iwate Prefecture with our signature 'Homemade Tsubu-an.' The Zunda-an features the rich aroma, natural sweetness, and pleasant texture characteristic of Hiden-mame. When paired with our mildly sweetened homemade Tsubu-an, it creates a sophisticated, multi-layered flavor profile. The contrast between the deep reddish-purple of the Tsubu-an and the vibrant green of the Zunda-an is visually striking, making it an ideal choice for a small gift.

About 'Murasakian'

'Murasakian' carefully selects its ingredients and prepares its Tsubu-an in-store using a unique method that skips the 'shibukiri' (tannin removal) process to highlight the natural flavor of the adzuki beans while keeping the sweetness subtle. Our homemade Tsubu-an, which captures the bounty of Hokkaido, is free of preservatives and known for its gentle, authentic taste.

■ Unique In-Store Kettle Cooking and Hand-Grilling Techniques

By heating the beans at high temperatures in dedicated in-store kettles, we cook them quickly without breaking the skins. By omitting the 'shibukiri' process, we draw out the inherent, deep flavor of the adzuki beans. Each Obanyaki is carefully grilled one by one on copper plates with excellent thermal conductivity, resulting in a thin, crispy crust filled with our homemade Tsubu-an.

Aeon Eaheart will continue to deliver richness, joy, and deliciousness through food by incorporating seasonal events, fresh ingredients, and regional specialties.
