Advantech and Jin-gi Ittai Explore Collaboration Potential in Edge Computing and Robotics Technology

■ Background of the Collaboration

Advantech has supported the digitalization and sophistication of various industrial sites through its products and technologies cultivated in the industrial computing and edge computing fields. Meanwhile, Jin-gi Ittai aims to realize new work through the synergy of humans and machines, based on its unique force control technology and power-amplified bilateral control technology.

Both companies believe that by combining their respective technological domains, they can discover new possibilities for robot utilization in industrial settings, and are proceeding with initiatives aimed at future business and technological collaboration.

■ Direction of the Collaboration

In this initiative, we will explore the possibilities of flexible robot utilization required on-site, by combining Advantech's edge computing product lineup and control platforms with Jin-gi Ittai's robot technology and remote control technology.

■ Exhibition at Japan IT Week 2026 [Spring]

At the Advantech booth during Japan IT Week 2026 [Spring], as a first step in the collaboration, Advantech's edge PC "AMAX" and various other edge control platforms will be exhibited alongside Jin-gi Ittai's independently developed "Jin-ki Ittai Type 01 ver.1.0" and an experiential demo. Visitors will be able to visually and concretely see the expected application scenarios in industrial settings through the collaboration of edge computing and robotics technology.
